Who can be an IPC member?
IPC defines an “independent publisher” for purposes of membership in IPC as a publisher of books, with no more than 60 employees on the one hand, and has a minimum of 10 books in print by not less than three authors on the other. Fully owned imprints at major houses would not qualify.

If you’d prefer to mail a check (payable to American Booksellers Association), please include a contact name and email address and your press name and address. Dues are $225 for publishers with 1-3 employees, $375 for publishers with 4-9 employees, and $475 for publishers with 10 or more employees. You can also choose to give IPC extra support with a $500 annual membership.
